Review: 2020 Dodge Durango SRT
This 2020 Dodge comes with more than the obtainable exterior muscle for an SUV. Many would, in fact, call it the truck-like SUV because of its intrinsic mechanical power and the low rumbling sound its engine makes when you ignite the Durango SRT for a ride within the city or the highway.
Its intrinsic mechanical power leads up to a speedy SUV that does 0-60 miles per hour in less than 5 seconds (precise math: 4.4 seconds). It packs a 475hp in its HEMI V8 engine and its torque sits at 470 lb.-ft. It rides 13 miles per gallon (city) and 19 miles per gallon (highway).
On entertainment and information, it delivers good sound quality on the default stereo but you can up your sound quality with $5 shy of $1,000 for Harmon-Kardon amp speakers that come with an 825-watt amp and a subwoofer.
Information and entertainment is delivered on the 8.4” display through the Chrysler Uconnect media system which includes Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
With 3 rows of seats, there is more than enough seats for a family of 4 children and 2 parents; the seating capacity stands at 6. Through the Chrysler Uconnect media system, all the seats in the 2020 Dodge Durango SRT has heating built into them which even extends to the steering wheel; the front row seats (driver’s and passenger’s) come with an extra: cooling functionality built into them too.
Standard safety features are inclusive in this SUV. Nonetheless, these technology features are optional: Cross-Path Detection System, Advanced Brake Assist, Lane Departure Warning System, Blind Spot Monitoring System, Adaptive Cruise, Full-Speed Forward Collision Warning System and adding them is available at an extra fee.
