2021 Ram 1500 vs Ram 2500 – Power and Performance

The Ram 2500 delivers more power under the hood. The real difference can be seen in towing capacity. The 1500 can tow over 12,000 pounds when properly equipped, but the 2500 can tow an amazing 19,680 pounds. On the other hand, the 1500 does give you four engine options, compared to two engine options from the 2500. However, the 2500 has a turbo option that isn’t available on the 1500.
